This week we take a look at a relatively older phone running on a newer OS, the HTC Touch Pro 2 with the Windows Mobile 6.5 update. We finally get to show you the Touch Pro 2 after the Touch Diamond2 episode, and explain some of the cool things we like about this admittedly huge phone.

This week, we were fortunate enough to get our hands on the HTC Touch Diamond2, the first of HTC’s next generation Windows Mobile phones.

Ever since we played with the HTC Touch HD on episode 11, we’ve been looking forward to HTC’s next few TouchFlo 3D smart phones, and the Touch Diamond2 certainly didn’t disappoint. They took all the great things from the HTC Touch HD, such as its much more stable TouchFlo 3D software, and its high-resolution display, and put it into the form factor of the Touch Diamond.

A Windows Mobile phone that’s actually awesome? Is that possible? The HTC Touch HD might actually be that phone! Find out why Daniel keeps thinking that the TouchFlo3D user interface should be a standard in Windows Mobile phones, and how it lets us forget about the fact that there’s actually nothing HD about the Touch HD (strictly speaking). This phone isn’t perfect though, and we’re not gonna let its flaws just pass by!

Oh, and this is going to be a long video, but that’s just because this is such an awesome phone, especially if you have been using Windows Mobile phones for a while!
