As the follow-up to First Looks, Gear65 with Daniel Tsou introduces you to every detail of the latest gadgets in each episode, letting you see them as though they were in your own hands, and including a healthy dose of opinion about what works and what doesn’t.

On this episode we take a look at Samsung continuing to blur the line between phone and tablet with the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, an Android Honeycomb 3.2 device. When Samsung released their first Android tablet, the original 7 inch Galaxy Tab, it could already make phone calls, assuming you used it as a speakerphone or with a headset. But on this model, Samsung took it further by including a phone speaker on the top of the display just like any other phone. Quite amusing, if you ask me.

On the other hand, it is also possible that they went “Since we’re adding a 3G radio into this thing, why should we remove the phone capabilities intentionally?”. It’s not like Samsung is marketing this as a 7-inch phone, anyway. What do you think?
