Simply Geek is back! And now we can record it live instead of recording over Skype. This time, Daniel, RenHao and NTT look at Audio Compression. The technology which makes audio files smaller than they should be. Find out about the two major types of compression, the various files types involved and the secrets behind how audio files are actually made smaller and why some people (like our dear Fari) hate compression!
P.S. Just to be clear, this podcast is about data compression not dynamic range compression.
