Most of the features of the Nikon 1 V1 are similar to the Nikon 1 J1. There are 4 major differences – The Nikon 1 V1 is made of a magnesium body; it has a electronic viewfinder with 1.44 million dots resolution; a horse shoe for external peripheral devices like a flash, GPS, or microphone; a mechanical shutter.
