Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Exclusive In-Depth First Look

Guess what we got our hands on last week? The yet-to-be on sale Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc! And unlike our previous exclusive videos, we actually got to use this device for a few days, so that we can bring you this in-depth video to show you all the cool and not so cool features of the Xperia Arc.

This is Sony Ericsson’s newest addition to their Xperia line, and one of the first few Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) devices so far. It’s not on sale yet, but I have a hunch that we will see it in stores very very soon.

The positioning of the noise canceling mic feels weird. Will your hand cover the mic when you are holding the phone?
And is the unlock swipe too low for comfort?

It’s actually quite high up. If you hold your phone, your hands usually won’t cover the top half of the phone. I can’t get my hand to cover the second mic unless I hold it in a really strange way…
The swipe is actually not all the way at the bottom. There is more screen below the swipe, just that it’s showing black, so it looks like it’s at the bottom of the screen. It feels the same as the standard Android unlock.
