Posted by sayanee | No commentsIt’s the 65th episode of Gear65, right here on Tech65.org! (You can tell I’ve been waiting for a while to say this!) On this episode, we take a look at Sony’s entry into the mirrorless camera: the Alpha NEX3.
While most people would review the NEX5, we specifically asked Sony for the NEX3, the lower end model in the series, because of its ability to record video at 720p. The NEX5, on the other hand, can only record at 1080p, which I personally wasn’t very fond of because of the processing power required to play and edit.
Oh, and read on for a video test that I conducted using the two lenses available today for the NEX3 and NEX5.

Yet another new old podcast. The hamster got lots of editing to catch up. In this episode, the crew discuss about Facebook Places and how Facebook is consistent with all their new features launches. Intel acquires McAfee and we wonder if it is because their CEO’s PC needs a virus scan. Last but not least, Yahoo! powered by Bing is coming your way soon.
Oh, and Jerrick says he will not listen to another episode of 65bits again. (Not that he has previously)

Today (19th September 2010) is the last day of Panasonic at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, where they showcase how tough is their toughbook.
It is really appreciative for Mariam to tour us around on a Saturday afternoon even though it is not her working day. Thank you Mariam.
Whenever people wanted to have a durable notebook, someone will always suggest toughbook. Personally, I do know that toughbook is durable and it is until I come to this road show it amazes with my eyes.
Posted by Justin Ng | 1 CommentThe crew visits Samsung Singapore’s office to check out Samsung’s upcoming first Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
My first impressions? Not too bad. It feels like holding a novel. And with Galaxy S performance and the latest Touch-Wiz UI that we liked, I’d say they got the interface worked out. Hope they price it well, and provide good ebook and app support, though. If not it would literally just be a big Galaxy S.
Posted by Daniel | 2 CommentsThis is an overdue video which we filmed in May 2010, and was updated in August 2010, where we took a look at a beta of Windows Phone 7 running on an LG prototype device. Personally, Windows Phone 7 is something I am looking forward to in the Smartphone sphere.
