Posted by Daniel | 2 CommentsWe are skipping a few episodes to catch up with our regular episode releases, so bear with us until our little hamster has caught up. On the mobile front for this week (Week of 31st July or 1st August), we talk about the new HTC Sense that HTC Desire will be getting soon with the Froyo update, as well as HP (after being a huge Windows supporter) will not make any Windows Phone 7 devices. Furthermore, Apple is patenting their mobile apps ideas. Being Singaporeans, we love to queue. Tech65 covered 2 launches, the Starcraft 2 launch and the iPhone 4 launch. We talk about these launches, and some information regarding the products themselves.

Posted by Daniel | 1 CommentAnother one of those delayed posting. The hamster is still trying to catch up with those production. Anyway, on that interesting week, the crew discuss about the HP Print Apps and ePrint which was announced in Hong Kong. Google is rumored to release a social networking site to rival Facebook. Well, its still rumor but we are praying hard that it’s for real. .xxx top level domain is finally accepted by ICANN and everyone is talking about it.
Did anyone notice that ICANN also approved Chinese alphabet domain name? Hmmm…… not many. So this one is for the 1.33 Billion people out there.

As the summer starts to show signs of ending, (at least in the northern hemisphere), many of us are back from holiday vacations. So we gather up a group of geeks who love to travel. Our good friend Preetam Rai, who loves to travel in East Asia; Inder Sen, a traveler who’s recently done a awesome hitchhiking trip in India at a almost impossible budget; and our very own Farinelli to talk about how they continue to be geeky while they travel and experience new people, places and situations. What tools, tricks and tips they use on the road.
This discussion is split into two episodes. This is part 2, and starts half-way through the discussion. You can check out the part 1 of discussion on the previous Episode of Simply Geek.
