It’s always fun to talk about the future, especially since we’re at the beginning of a new decade. Here’s a chance for you to discuss what YOU think of the future, and win a HP Mini 5101 while you’re at it.
We finally get hold of an HP Envy 15, a very speced out version too, and we unbox it for you to give you a sneak peak at what the HP Envy 15 is all about.Posted by Daniel | No comments
After a few weeks break, Gear65 is back! This week we’re showing off Motorola’s first Android phone in Singapore, the Motorola Dext (Known as the Cliq in the US of A). We’ve decided to add a bit more information in our Gear65 posts to help you make a better decisions, so read on for more!1 Comment
The Tech65 crew gathered at Farinelli’s house for this week’s recording. Strangely, there isn’t any 3G or WIFI signal in his room for all our devices except for his. Which is weird because we are using the same Telco. Perhaps there is some jammer in his room.
Oh yes, and Fari really need to take courses on segue.

Planning to follow the Apple announcement happening this Thursday morning (Singapore time)? Why not do it with us? We’re going to be hanging out at the video chat room located in www.Tech65.org/live where you can join us as we follow the announcements. We believe that this event will make quite an impact in the technology space as we know it, so why not chat about it as it happens?
So join us from Thursday 2AM (Singapore time) and onwards (we’ll start hanging around before that though) at http://www.tech65.org/live!
If you’re looking for places to catch the announcements as it happens, here are some suggestions:6 Comments
I have no idea why is it called China day when it’s not 1st Oct. But yes, China and Google are on the news almost everyday since last week when Google announced that their infrastructure has been under cyberattack from China. Germany Government advice their citizen to stop using IE until Microsoft release a patch. Google is going to place advertisement on the billboard found on Street View. And Lenovo releases non-black coloured Thinkpad. Don’t complaint. Be glad that they haven’t do pink yet.

It’s the interview that we’ve all been waiting for! DK and I went down to the Gothere.sg office and got a chance to speak to Kian Khai and Jun Han, two of the founders of Gothere.sg, and find out a little more about what the team behind Gothere.sg is like.
This is our first attempt at doing a video interview, so things like lighting, directing etc are still quite rough around the edges. We’ve certainly learnt a lot from doing this interview, and hope that you will still be able to enjoy this video.
If you haven’t used Gothere.sg, what are you waiting for??Posted by Daniel | 1 Comment
The challenge where I represented Tech65.org and Singapore organised by WOMWorld.com is still on, and the next challenge wasn’t exactly about Nokia, but about what we could do with US$199 in our city. A very interesting question to ask, I must say. Anyway, this was our submission which I thought you guys might be interested in watching. What would you do with US$199?Posted by Daniel | No comments
What better way to start the first SG of the year than to talk about the future? In a complete coincidence, all three of us brought up topics where we talked about things that are yet to come, and at the same time, learn something new. Plus, in a totally wise move, the guys decide to do the recording while CES was making announcements (that means it was about 2AM +8 GMT!).
So go grab some pop corn, plug in your fancy expensive noise cancelling earphones, sit back, relax, and just simply geek out with us!

We found a friend who ordered the Google Nexus One and who was willing to let us do the unboxing on his behalf! So we went out and met him at the KFC over at the Lot1 shopping mall last night and unboxed it for him! Because of that, we didn’t have the usual proper equipment or the best sound, but I’m sure you’re not going to care, right? 😛
By the way, this was also the first time we streamed the unboxing live over Ustream! We had about 15 people in the chat room asking us questions about the Nexus One, which we did our best to answer and show off on the spot. The whole event lasted for about an hour and half and was streamed entirely off an iPhone 3GS (and subsequently an HTC Hero)! We had a lot of fun and we’ll try to do that more often in the future! So do follow our twitter feed to be informed for things like that!
