By request, I am posting the full specifications of the HP Mini 110. While I was putting this up, I realised there were a few specs that we forgot about, such as the fact that the display is LED-backlit. The HP Mini 110 has several options, and it’s base model is probably the one that costs US$299 (During the executive interviews, we were told that the US$299 is for both the Mobile Internet Edition as well as the Windows XP model).
I’m also adding the HD version of the HP Mini 110 video for your viewing pleasure.15 Comments

On my way back from Beijing, I decided to do a video tour of Singapore Airline’s in-flight entertainment system, and check out the tech that’s found on the system. Oh, and sorry about the accent. That’s what happens when you can’t hear yourself.
As promised, here’s where Billy Tan, Business Development Manager for Thin Clients at HP introduce HP’s new Thin Clients to us at the HP “Touch the future. Now.” event in Beijing.
As you can see, the machine is really pretty cool, if only it were available to consumers, which I bet would happen eventually.
Don’t forget to check out my post about the HP Thin Clients.Posted by Daniel | No comments
HP introduced a new line of ProBooks at the “HP Touch The Future. Now.” event in Beijing. Most of us know about the exterior changes, such as new materials, the chicklet keyboard etc, but not many of us know about the changes that happened inside. I was fortunate enough to have Philip from HP present to me some of the enhancements in the new ProBooks, enhancements that I could really appreciate, and maybe you might too.
Samsung has a new line of music phones called the Beat series, and today we take a look at the Beat DJ, their music phones designed for DJ wanna-bes.

One product that blew me away yesterday at the HP Touch The Future Now conference in Beijing was HP’s line of Thin Clients. Yes, Tech65 is a consumer-oriented website, and this article maintains that. Just read on to discover how thin clients can come back to us as consumers.
I was fortunate enough to have a personal demonstration of their Thin Clients by Billy Tan, Business Development Manager of Thin Clients at HP, and here’s what I learnt.3 Comments

A second more detailed first look with more information on the HP Mini 110, taken live at BeiJing at the HP Touch The Future Now event.
I did a comparison with the HP Mini 1000 too, so check it out.Posted by Daniel | 16 Comments
It’s been quite an eventful day here in Beijing, where HP held its Touch The Future Now regional event. They launched several products, including the HP Mini 110 netbook, the HP Pavillion MS200 all-in-one Desktop PC, an upgraded HP DV2 notebooks, and some new HP ProBooks.
But that is not the most important part of this trip for me, since Tech65 is not exactly a news site. What I gained most from this event so far is a better understanding as to what makes HP tick, and what their philosophy is when it comes to deciding what kind of product to design and create. No comments
