hmm maybe they should make it recessed? coz i am worried that since the metal part of the miniUSB sticks out, after some time u will definitely get ugly dents, so maybe just apply a rubber ring-like material to protect against wear and tear, if you know what i mean haha

I guess for the USB port, having rubber at the edge is a bit too much to ask, don’t you think? Do you know any other phones that do that?

Oh, and thanks for the correction! Too bad it’s video… I had no idea they switched to SD even before this! That’s awesome news!! I actually was thinking maybe it’s cos it’s a windows mobile phone…

Hmm… i don’t really like the side of the phone where u can see the keyboard keys through a tiny gap, that makes it seems like a cheap device(only from this angle).

Next is the miniUSB slot. They could have made the edges of the slot using rubber so that over time it doesn’t get scratched very much and leaves some ugly marks.

The shutter button could be an initial design fault(as SonyEricsson(SE) occasionally commits, most notably the broken keypads of S500i/W580i).

The black finish looks really svelte and professional, comparable to the likes of HTC Touch Diamond/Pro.

I thought SE cracked the WinMo Holy Grail, as i was looking forward and considered upgrading to one next Feb, guess i will wait for the Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic, another phone that i am seriously interested in

By the way, the Cybershot K850i was the FIRST from SE to use MicroSD and M2, perhaps it should be the first SE SMARTPHONE that uses microSD
