Did you guys go check out X08 last weekend? Well, we did, and we got a chance to play with the new Xbox Experience, the upcoming software update for the 360, and we loved it.
Also, we just can’t get enough of Mobile tech news, as shown in this week’s episode where we explore Firefox’s mobile browser that just got released as an alpha, and talk about Android some more. What’s that? The “we-waited-so-long-until-we-didn’t-care-anymore” Palm OS 6 that they promised to release in 2004 (!?) is finally launched as ALP? Right. And moving swiftly along…

Oh, and do join us at Podcamp Singapore 2008, it’s free!2 Comments
This is a continuation of the Part 1 of discussion on Google Android.
So will we be able see Android on the iPhone, the Nokia N95, or even the Motorola RAZR cellphones? Herein lies the biggest misconception about Open OSs.1 Comment
This is a two post discussion on the Google’s Android OS.
There has been much furore recently, about Google’s new Embedded Operating System “Android“. The biggest reasons for the attention are the clout of Google as a player in the IT industry, and the fact that the Operating System (OS) is completely Open-sourced. So let’s look at this “Open”ness of Android and a few misinterpretation people have about it.1 Comment
Yes, it’s that time again. Another Apple event, another set of new Apple products. In this episode, the entire Tech65 crew attempts to avoid the Apple topic, and talk about everything else. How about a discussion on Digital Media in Singapore? Or finding out what’s the deal with Samsung’s new Innov8 phone? Oh, I know! Let’s talk about the next version of Windows! I’m sure everyone wants to find out what they decided to name it! And how about some tips on reformatting your Windows machine! I mean, who cares about Apple, right?

So Apple launched a bunch of brand new Macbooks and Macbook Pros early this morning (Singapore time). I’m not going to talk about them because I’m saving all that for this Saturday’s 65bits with the crew. However, I have to talk to all of you who have been complaining about Apple removing that button from the track pad. Seriously, before you start ranting, make sure you dig up the facts first!!
Note, this isn’t a “Woot! I love Apple!” post, it’s a “What are you guys talking about!?!” post.8 Comments
TWiST65, we have Nicole and Ryu with us to jump around in the geek pool. Expect to pay that little bit less of unecessary cash when telcos figure out how to cut it, predict where to stand to get your face captured ON GOOGLE!! (incidentally, we’ve given quite abit of airtime to new Google products rolled out these couple of weeks and rolling out in the next few months), and yet more smartphone news. Finally, a Macbook event on October 14th. YAY FARINELLI SAYS YAY!
If you were the star of my life, I’d be fried into black soot right now. THIS! Is Tech65.9 Comments
As we creep ever closer to the magical hundredth, Singapore can expect to enjoy fibre to the curb up the rubbish chute in about three years time. Steve (no, the other one… yes that one) releases a confounding Cloud of information which we’re unsure whether to take with a pinch of salt or a barrel of salt. Nokia begins its water testing with the sleek and kinda innovative 5800 ExpressMusic phone. Apple decides to be a little bit less of a jerk, trackpads are set to get more complicated movements to get things done, and Nintendo announces it’s new DS, but will consider manufacturing for the rest of the world after it’s done with its 6 year marathon of Wii Sports Tennis.
