Episode 23: This week in the SKREE!!!! Oops. Posted on: May 27, 2007 at 11:28 am Posted in: 65Bits,Podcasts

Why hello there, Its your friendly 65bits Editor coming at you live… Ish. This week’s podcast touches on several wonderful things. First up, we talk about the Wireless life in Singapore, and how the capitalists are holding us down, but we will not GIVE IN! Vive LA REVOLUTION!!!! Speaking of revolutions, the highest phone call in the world has been placed, and it was through a Motorola… Mmm I wonder about that guy’s roaming charges. The death of an operating system is commemorated and we complain about a lack of coherence from the definitive Singaporean tech company. Dell surprises us and PS3 gets the features they were supposed to get in the first place and Sony shows off how techy they can be with some fancy schmancy holographic tech. Lastly, we are Wiied on by the makers of the Wii over the removal of a key port for modding. Thanks to all you listeners out there, we sincerely do love you guys in a way that’s proportionate and not in any way sexual.

With much adoration,
Ahl Bhe Bhack.
Your friendly neighbourhood Techies.

Hello my lovelies, This week our guest star, the wonderful Justin Lee, who lives in Canada but has returned to our tropical heat sink of an island just for us, for US… MUAHAHAHAHA. This episode we talk about Zunes which are trying to be cool by tattooing itself, being all divaish, and demanding a factory for itself. We talk about Halo 3, Starcraft III (sic) II *Ed: JERRICK!!!!!* And the eastern iteration of AOE III. HELP its the attack of the Sequels!!! We have a new old Macbook, and an old new IBM. We also see how Microsoft has succeeded-ish with Vista and how Sony is failing-ish with the PS3. And plenty of other sidenotes that Justin gracefully introduced to us! Till next week guys!

Episode 21: Handphones, PDAs and OMG Laptops! We’re going MOBILE this ep! Posted on: May 13, 2007 at 2:20 pm Posted in: 65Bits,Podcasts

Hello, My Lovelies.

Today’s episode is special for us, as it is a coming of age episode of sorts. We receive revelations from various bodies such as Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Dopod and Palm. Hewlett Packard in its infinate wisdom has decided to unveil to us lowly unworthies several of their new laptops and given our lack of time we are only able to mention two of them. Zune news arrives along with Xbox 360 Dashboard updates and finally we reveal exactly how big a geek our dear Daniella is.

Forever Yours,
Jan and Der

Episode 20: Tired of Win/Mac? Try Ubuntu! Dell Did Posted on: May 6, 2007 at 1:11 pm Posted in: 65Bits,Podcasts

Jerrick decides that he has had too much of the US of A and flew back just so that he could be with you kiddies. We see several breakthroughs this week, Creative releases the Zen Stone, ok… so maybe not a BREAKTHROUGH. Dell takes advice from their customers, HD-DVD and Blu-Ray issues again. We see people Wiiing all over Singapore, Microsoft betas Longhorn Server, and shrinks Xbox 360 chips in the Fall of 07, making one editor particularly cheesed off. We also mention future theoretical plans for a platform from Intel, Aka Chipzilla.

Run Away!!!
Its Jerrick and Daniel!

Episode 19: The day Wii’ve been waiting for! Posted on: May 1, 2007 at 12:53 pm Posted in: 65Bits,Podcasts

In this episode, we introduce our new host, Bryan, while we wait for Jerrick to return with lots of goodies (hint hint) from his holiday. So the Wii is finally, after 5 agonising months (for Daniel) of waiting, while Blizzard is about to release a game that has been delayed for even longer. In the mean time, more cooler and more efficient mobile technologies are appearing in the market, as Amazon attempts to jump on, or rather, off the DRMed music band wagon.
