As you all know, Jerrick’s away on holiday, and unfortunately, our new guys aren’t free today, so episode 19 will be until May Day next tuesday, so do stay tuned! In the meantime, here’s some of the headlines this week. The Nintendo Wii is finally launched in Singapore! For those of you who want to buy it now, it’s sold at 649 in a bundle which includes the console, an extra wii remote and sonic the hedgehog game. By the way, comics connection is selling the console by itself for 499. You’ll have to make reservations though, because the stock is already sold out, but will be replenished next week. Also, Blizzard is going to be announcing a new product on the 19th May. What are they announcing? We have no idea, but we can always speculate. All this and more, on episode 19 of 65 bits!

We talk about several things this episode. First thing, we see a new Linux distro that is usable for the average user and doesn’t require much by way of set up! Are you listening OSzilla? We also look at new Mac video editing software and Google has created a presentation software but accessible anywhere. Microsoft creating a Zune Phone and not selling very well at all in China? Are we surprised, especially with Dell choosing to start offering XP again! Jerrick buys a DS Lite simply because of Pokemon, just coz the cutesy charecters will attract the ladies. (Ed: No, Jerrick it wont….) and Wii coming? Do we care? Do we want one? *SCREAMING HORDES: YES YESSSS YESSHHHHHH!!!!!*
Your Average Nintendo Lovers,
Jario and Duigi.

This episode is, as the title of the Episode implies, a short one. This was done intentionally to become more Youtube friendly. In this episode, we talk about the emergence of Old Retro phones, that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. We speculate on the true existence of the Wii, and if its all just not a big joke played on Singaporeans. Asus makes it actually possible to play a high end computer game on your Laptop! Apple shows that its the king of Cores for good reason, afterall what’s an Apple without its Core, and the new Mac pro’s definately got that… 8 of that. And lastly we speculate on the future of DRM, and consult the all knowing Oracle, and she said, puffing on her cigarette, saying, Yes, its the beginning, of the end.
The Ones, Daniel & Jerrick
