Episode 5: The LLLAAAAAAAAst Episode for the Year of ARRRF ARRRF WOOF Posted on: December 30, 2006 at 11:27 am Posted in: Podcasts

So we are scheming liars, who decided to inflict upon the world another one of our fabuloso podcasts. Gizmodo denied us the pleasure of announcing to the world our all consuming loyalty to His Steveness, Apple broke our hearts but decided to atone for its sins by giving cash to a guy with big glasses, Taiwan shows us how to move, and Jerrick raves about Pokemon, which we all know at the age of 18 is a sign of dementia or too much wine last night. Happy New Year folks, Daniel and J-Thingymajiggy sommat or other.

Earthquake in Taiwan affects internet all over asia Posted on: December 28, 2006 at 12:51 pm Posted in: Blog

A 7.1 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Taiwan on Tuesday damaged undersea fibre-optic cables, causing the internet in Asia to be drastically affected. ISPs have rerouted internet access to go around the affected regions, but internet access is still slower than usual. It may take a few weeks before we’re back at full capacity.

Miraculously, Tech65.org is still working fine. So you can still get your dose of weekly podcasts as we follow updates regarding this “virtual black-out”.

New Sony Ericsson Z310i Posted on: December 8, 2006 at 3:56 pm Posted in: Blog

Sony Ericsson Z310i - SonyEricsson.comSony Ericsson has just released the new Z310i, which is a budget version of the Z610i, which has attracted a lot of attention lately due to it’s mirror-like shell’s design. Being a budget phone, the Z310i does not do video calls, nor does it have an MP3 player like the Z610i. It comes with a 0.3 megapixel camera (you mean they still exist?!?), bluetooth, and an RSS reader (for you to subscribe to Tech65.org :P) and a photo blogging software that allows you to take pictures and upload them to your blog. No news about pricing or availability in Singapore yet, but expect it to be cheap.
